Solio Solar Battery Charger
Solio is among the best products I’ve seen for reducing dependence on batteries. I use NiMH exclusively (except for my smoke detectors) at about 5 dollars each. Having been through Hurricane Katrina, I’ve looked for a solar battery charger that was small enough to carry around, but haven’t found one I like until now. This is not only a great idea ecologically, but also is a great safety tool. Flashlights, cell phones, and other small devices now need only this little gadget to run forever.
