Lear 204 Electric Boat by EPower Marine
A friend has a very nice 25 foot boat we can’t afford to put gas in.
The Lear 204 eliminates the need for fuel entirely. It’s pricey, but if you have solar panels to charge the boat’s battery pack, there’s no fuel cost at all. For those of us who don’t have the bucks for a new boat, we could at least get a few ideas on retrofitting existing boats with an electric drive. For those with the bucks, this is a really nice quiet, pollution free (useing renewable energy for charging) option. The cost of oil won’t ever drop substantially, and will very soon skyrocket.
